What do we have here? Another stroke of genius from Colin at Koby Drums.
Drummers have always wanted to include extra sounds to their acoustic set up, but have always been put off by the size of the equipment out there and the cost. With this in mind, Koby decided to release DRUM-MATE™ for the acoustic drummer.
What does this set up do? Well it allows the drummer over 200 sounds
with 2 x Nano Pads to mount to your existing Hi-Hat stand or Cymbal stand. This set up allows the acoustic drummer to mount DRUM-MATE™ to a range of existing stands on their acoustic kit without the need to buy extra stands and clamps etc.
For live situations you have a bank of over 200 sounds to add to your existing acoustic set up. If you want percussion sounds (for pantos, shows etc) this is the real deal. You can have congas, bongos, bells, timbales, whistles, vibra slap without ever needing to buy the real thing and having the hassle of carrying and miking them etc.
You could put a pair of headphones on and play DRUM-MATE™ to practice whilst the guitarist is setting up. Need that piccolo snare drum but dont want to carry it? This is your new friend.
It really is incredible. We showed one to Steve Barney (Annie Lennox, Sugababes, Jeff Beck) and he parted with cash straight away.
Yes, you can expand later on if you wish to add more pads etc. There is a total of 8 x trigger inputs + hi-hat control option.

 Koby Mesh S1 Single-Zone Snare Pad

If you own a non-mesh electronic kits, you can now change your heavy Rubber, tiresome snare pad for this amazing KOBY pad. The NEW S1 8" SINGLE ZONE Snare MESH head is now available for the player who requires a more ‘substantial’ playing area. The pad can be tensioned just like a ‘real’ drum head, for feel and rebound, and are very ‘robust’. Their sensitivity is far better than the usual ‘rubber’ type pad.
Comes supplied with the relevant cables for use with ALL leading drum modules, choose your module-manufacturer options during the order process. Will work with Alesis DM5 also.

Exceedingly Good Pads!
Here we have the newly designed Koby "Kipling" Nano Pad!
These 4" Pads are the ideal solution for triggering ‘auxiliary’ percussion voices and/or loops if you have limited space in an Electronic or Acoustic set-up. Ideal for ‘stop’ or ‘starting’ sequences or loops on relevant drum modules. Supplied with a 3" mounting pipe, 22mm wide, with a ratchet arm for positioning. MOUNTING: Fits into the tube of an appropriately sized stand or via a multi-clamp (not included) onto a stand. It can also be attatched to a drum rack clamp if you have a rack. Also supplied with its own 1/4" Jack lead with a ‘screw-on’ thread tp eliminate falling/pulling out whilst playing. COMPATIBLE WITH ALL LEADING DRUM MODULES so you can plug into the likes of a Yamaha DTX brain. If you own a DTX or Roland Electronic kit, then this is a great way to add extra pads. What's more, we've got the likes of Andy Gangadeen, Julien Brown and Steve Barney using these pads, so if it's good enough for them....Nano Pads are made in England (Liverpool) and have great support direct from the manufacturer, Koby Drums.
