Why not make your first drum kit one from "the strongest name in drums", TAMA?
Re-birth of a Brand Name
The Tama Imperialstar brand, synonymous with Stewart Copeland (he recorded the first two Police albums on an Imperialstar kit) and now spear-heading a cool revival of a flagship 1980's drum line for Tama. Right now, we can't think of a better brand name to launch a fledgling drumming career with.
Today's Kits
Made from 6-ply Poplar shells with precise bearing edges, these drums will provide you with a suprisingly warm tone usually associated with more expensive shells. The exterior finishes are 100% glued onto the shells rather than being glued at various points, thus eliminating the risk of the plastic lifting or bubbling. Basic kit configuration is:
- 22" x 18" Bass Drum
- 12" x 9" Rack Tom
- 13" x 10" Rack Tom
- 16" x 16" Floor Tom
- 14" x 5.5" Wood Shell Snare Drum
- HH35W Hi-Hat Stand
- HP30 Bass Drum Pedal
- HC32W Straight Stand
- HC33BW Boom Stand
- HS30W Snare Stand
Options
We offer the basic kit package as described above, but we also have an option that includes a stool and a set of Meinl cymbals (Crash, Hi-Hat & Ride). Finishes listed are to the best of our knowledge, the ones currently in good supply with the Tama UK distributor.
If this is going to be a first drum kit on a budget then take it from us, Imperialstar is a name that won't let you down!
