Popular with both Metal and R&B drummers alike, the Tama Superstar Hyper-Drive kit takes the shallow tom theory to another level. Tama say that their short depth "creates enhanced attack, punchy sound, and quick response." Being shallow in depth, they also allow you to position your Rack toms lower - especially important to those drummers out there who feel the need to be seen!

Superstar shells are constructed from select Birch plys and come with black nickel hardware, Star-Cast mounts and Die-Cast hoops. They also come in some gorgeous finishes. Superstar Custom are lacquered finishes whilst the plain Superstar branding are the wrapped versions. However, there's nothing 'plain' about the Superstar wrapped finishes as we've had them set up on our shop floor and they do look pretty stunning - especially with the black nickel shell hardware. Believe us when we say, these kits look as good as they sound.

We offer sets in 5-piece and 6-piece configurations as follows:

• 5-PIECE: 22" x 20" 'Ultra Deep' (undrilled) Bass Drum, 10" x 6.5" Rack Tom, 12" x 7" Rack Tom, 16" x 14" Floor Tom, 13" x 6" Snare Drum

Remember folks, these are undrilled Bass drums so you will need to use those clamps & arms supplied to mount your Rack toms!
