Evans Emad is the ideal bass drum head if you need your bass drum to be mellowed without losing the attack! A single-ply 10mil head with 2 interchangable damping rings that maximize attack and low-end. These drumheads really do sound great!! We have one set up in the store without any pillow/grannys blanket etc & it sounds amazing! So what do the damping rings do? The smaller one is for minimal tone control whilst the larger one is used for maximum damping. Easy to remove or inter-change. Available in clear or coated.

Also available, the new EMAD resonant side head. This is a 7mil head with a fixed internal ring plus 2 interchangable foam rings that damp overtones around the edge of the 5" offset port, focusing the pitch and enhancing attack. The port is positioned for easy microphone placement. Currently available in black only.

AND INTRODUCING the EMAD2 which has an outer ply of 6.5 mil and an inner ply of 10 mil to enhance attack, focus and durability. Available in clear only at the time of writing.
